Normally, I am not a fan of sci-fi type books, but I am a fan of Lindy Zart. How could anything Lindy writes be bad? It CAN'T. That's how. I loved this book from the beginning to the very last word. HONOR.

Honor. The main character definitely lives up to her name. She is honorable, and she has strong morals and values for someone her age who is suddenly thrust into a life she never knew existed. She never falters in her beliefs and I respect Lindy so much for instilling that in Honor! She trusts her instincts and stands up for what she believes in.

Every main character in this book is very well written and by breaking the book into separate, smaller sections for Christian, Ryder, and Nealon, you get an extremely informative back story on each character, which finally leads to the ending of the book. As I said before, I am not really into sci-fi, and while this book was labeled as sci-fi, it did not go overboard with it. Lindy explained everything so clearly, I had no questions left unanswered and I didn't feel like I was lost out in the sci fi twilight zone! I loved the little plot twist at about 87% in the book and did not see it coming. At all! I loved the connection between Honor and Nealon as well. He could sense what Honor was feeling and going to do the second that she knew it herself. This book has wonderful characters, a great story line, and I am excited to read the next book!

Such a great YA novel n different paranormal storyline, I highly recommend this book not to mention this author. I first read the Complete series and that was great, this is completely different but just as good, maybe better. I cannot wait to dive into the next book!!! Loved the different storylines from different point of views so clever and not tedious like some books here you have to listen to the same story line from different pic this was done in such a smart way, LOVED it!!!
Ordinary is one of those rare books that suck you in from the first page and never lets you go. I devoured this book in less than 24 hours.

The storyline is totally fresh and unique and I loved how the book is divided into the main characters different perspectives.

Honor, Christian and Isaac are some of the BEST characters I have come across in a long while. I was nearly in tears at the end because of how beautifully the stories came together. I cannot wait to read the next in this series.
The first book in the series wraps your mind up from the first page to the last. It makes you love, hate, and fear with Honor. It's Sci-Fi, but it's Lindy Zart, so you know it's going to have a great underlying feeling of trusting, loving, trying, and never giving up, even when it would be the easy way out. Honor, Ryder, Nealon, Christian, and Natasha will rock your world.
This story started with your average ordinary girl and then became anything but, just as promised. While I liked the book and plan to continue the series, I was shocked by how different this book was, and how it didn't have the emotion I have come to expect from a Lindy Zart book. I'm anxious to see where the story is headed!
Ms. Zart has a masterpiece with this Young Adult Sci-fi book. The reader is sucked into the plot waiting to see what will happen from one moment to the next. The characters are intriguing and easily able to capture a reader's interest. If you are looking for a page turner look no further. This book will keep your interest and you will find yourself cheering the heroine on and praying for the best outcomes for the characters as you learn more about each of them. Whether you are a teenager or an adult you will enjoy this book. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Honor is such a courageous heroine. This was unlike any of the other books I've read by Lindy Zart. I love sci-fi and this satisfies both the romance lover and the sci-fi lover in me. I found this book hard to put down. Zart is a pro at showing a character's public persona and then contradicting that by letting us see into the mind of that character- so we can what he/she truly feels. I found it hard to put down. This book ends with a cliffhanger- which is perfectly fine as parts two and three are available.

This book was awesome! It’s a new take on Zombies, without the gore, and I love it.

I though it was interesting how the author wrote the story from different characters perspective. Some times writing like that can be confusing but I found it to be insightful and gave the reader a better look at how each individual felt during the course of the book.

The book is very well written and would be a good read for anyone from young teens to adults.
