This is the third book I’m reading by Oliver Phipps, and here I am saying this: “Oliver Phipps just with 3 books became my new favourite author. As always Phipps does an amazing job creating a reality that just fascinates you. His style of writing and the descriptions make you feel not an observer but a part of the story. I have been a big fun of dystopian novels after I read Huxley and Orwell, I still believe that they are like gods to me of dystopian, now my gods increased by one person – and that’s Oliver Phipps.

In all the latest dystopian novels that I’ve read in the past year, the beginning is always so confusing, however this time the author gives us an insight right from the start, so we know where we are and what’s going on from the very beginning. The plot that Phipps conjures is something absolutely fabulous. Merge reality with virtual reality and you may have a rough idea what might be going on here. I loved the book for this uniqueness and even though the plot is set in the future, the situations that we see make us feel as if we are still in 21st century.

The main characters – Rizette and Oray are a young married couple, which work in the virtual reality and all the “fun”, if we can call if fun starts when Oray discovers a conspiracy. Now we are thrown in a reality with a little hope, and it’s up to us to understand the book. This book combines Sci-Fi with humor and makes us enjoy the book from the first page to the last one. There are many moments that might first sound fun, but at the same time make you think as to how the technology progresses too fast. I do not think that my kid brother will know what a cassette is when he will be 13. Yes, even if you were not a fan of Sci-Fi novels, you will become, right before even finishing “Diver Creed Station”.

Are you ready to dive into an adventure, which will make you laugh but will ask you to think too? Are you ready for a futuristic reality that might actually become our future? I mean, many people are starting to be more obsessed with virtual reality nowadays then the real one. I remember once I read somewhere that the reality is the one that we make ourselves. Get ready for the suspense that will leave you craving more, that’s what Oliver Phipps is amazing in. You still haven’t got your copy? What are you waiting for? What an amazing book. It gripped me right from the very beginning. It doesn't take much when we are in the dystopian genre to get my blood moving, but this book did way more than that. This book explores a shattered future with three groups fighting to make it in the new world.

The riveting flow of the story makes it hard to set this book down. Oliver does an amazing job with the character development in the story and really makes you feel you are in the future with them struggling for your lives with yet a glimpse of hope. I don't want to spoil the book for you, but with all of the twists and turns, you never see the end coming until it hits you!
I decided to buy this book because it is the kind of science fiction book that I would like to read and I wasn't too disappointed. The story consists of an interesting setup of real world vs virtual world.

The story is set in the late twenty- second century where mankind slowly begins to struggle back from the edge of extinction. As the story unfolds, I found myself immersed in the story as its get more captivating by the pages. All the characters are well researched and has lot of depth in them.

I strongly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys science fiction.
Diver Creed Station is an amazing sci-fi cyberpunk thriller. The author has shown such a creative imagination inventing this gritty, dark, futuristic new world that seems so real. Oliver Phipps gives you a unique action packed storyline and does an epic job at weaving the plot between the real and virtual world while never leaving the reader behind. Oray and Rizette are well written, relatable thought out characters with real depth. The fast pacing of the story will have your heart racing till the very end. A definite page turner you'll have a hard time putting down.
Okay, I admit it, I am a sucker for all things sci-fi.

A lot of the elements to this story are familiar. The story is set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future. Fine, we've done that. The story also includes expected future tech like AI and a very believable virtual reality system.

The main character Oray and his wife, Rizette are "divers" which is what they call people who 'dive into' the virtual reality worlds. The fun begins with a glitch and a conspiracy.

The story is thrilling, the characters are deep and compelling and the plot is surprising.

I would (and do ) recommend this book to all of my fellow sci-fi lovers. There was no question. It could only ever be a 5 star review from me.
From the onset of this dystopian novel set in a world that is scrambling to regain its grasp on civilization, the theme of hope is prevalent. The world has deteriorated beyond recognition, yet the BVZ United is a place where safety and "old world" technology can be accessed - particularly a virtual reality station. In order to get to the BVZ individuals must travel the "Road of Hope" risking their lives in the process. However the seemingly beautiful society awaiting the end of the journey is anything but. Rizette and Oray, a young married couple, soon find themselves stuck in a world that seems to have so little hope. Throughout their journey phrases are repeated such as, "we only fail when we give up hope" and the reader is given an opportunity to see the beauty of holding on to hope even when it seems all hope has failed. This book was a fun read full of mystery and light moments. Moments such as Oray struggling to figure out how to use a pen in a virtual scene in the 80s and Rizette trying to understand what a tape cassette were had me laughing aloud. This book is truly Science Fiction and comedy at its best!
